Crafters Companion Challenge 8

For this fortnight Rachel gave us a fab sketch. I really enjoyed making this one. For this challenge I picked the Occasions CD which I haven't used for ages. I printed of few backing paper and a sheet of toppers. There was so much on the topper sheet I just used half of it. Rest of it in my tin for next year lol
I printed of 2 backing paper and 1 coordinating paper and used a scrap yellow paper for layering. I used some Pebeo to do embellishments, still not too good with it but practice makes perfect.
For inside I just had to use the witch ( I can see myself in it lol)
I have printed of the matching envelop just to make it coplete.

2 Chellenge in 1

I decided to combine 3 challenges again. At Colour Creat the theme is RED, YELLOW, BLACK and WHITE plus FLOWERS and CHECKS ( completely forgot abt the last bit :-) I was glad inside pumpkin got checks on but that's by accident and my insert is flower so problem sorted hey). At Tuesday Taggers the theme is Halloween or "Things that go bump in the night" and I used Rachel's fab sketch from Crafters Companion
Ingredients:
Paper from stash
Free bee digi stamp and paper
Shakura pens
Ribbon from stash
Liquid pearl
On my pumpkin I put a bit of stardust and used my souffle for writing.
The black and the white paper I've used was a free bee but have no idea where did it came from.
Inside I used my flower nestie to do my insert and left side I used one of the left over and put my extra pumpkin in it.
Just a close up of the left side.

3 Challenge in 1

Well at Saturday Spotlight they got the 1st challenge: Halloween....but NOT. I had to say had to put thinking cap on but I think I cracked it. At TT: Shades of Autumn and at High Hopes: Lotsa Layers. For Autumn colour I chose:red, brown, orange, green&bit of yellow.

Ingredients:

Tim Holtz inks

High Hopes Snow Lady rubber stamp

Paper from stash

Shakura:Stardust pen

I just layered papers on top of each other till I was happy with my arrangement. Usually I do my matting and layering but I thought these colours don't need it plus I wanted my base card seen which is a pretty embossed card from my stack.

Inside I didn't cut my card of completely so I could use it as a pocket and my Sun/flower paper I wrapped it round like I would do it with a ribbon.

Coloure Creat Challenge

At Colour Creat the colour combination is Hot Pink, Dusky Pink & Ice Chocolate. I just love this colour combination. Be honest for this card I used scrap paper, peel off coloured with peel off pen& Pro-Markers and Tim Holtz ink for the edges.
This is my close up of the front and I just had to use an extra layer of the snowmen I love decoupage and I'll use it whenever I can. I think decoupage just gives that little bit of extra to the card.
Look at these gorgeous colour combinations.
This is my finished card. Unfortunately Merry Christmas doesn't show to well on the picture. I coloured the stars with my pink Pro-Markers and brown peel off pen. The Xmas sentiment was coloured with my Pro-Marker too.
For inside I used my nesties on my left over paper plus cut out a star out of vellum and I stamped an Xmas sentiment on the other side.

Tuesday Taggers Challenge

At Tuesdays Taggers this week or I should say last week's (I'm posting in last min again)theme:Trees
I only used some basic cards and my swapped image. The stamp is by Penny Black:Fantasy
I used my decoledge scissors& peel off what I coloured black for contrast.
I think the way this image was stamp doesn't needed much, so I just matted&layered it.
Inside I stamped the sentiment, not showing to well but it is there :-)

How to make an Apron card

I done a life crafting on Crafters Companion. I seen it on Creat&Craft. The apron was coming from a CD but I haven't got it but thought I can make a template myself without CD.
Ingredients:
A4 base card
C5 patterned card
C6 card/paper
Ribbon
2 embossing ball same size head
Small plate
Step1: Cut 17cmx12cm patterned paper and on the top right&left mark 3cm inwards and mark it, then measure 6cm down both sides and mark it.
Step2: Take a small plate or in my case I used my double sided tape and make a semi circle
Once you done your semi circle it should look like this.
Step3: Cut away the semi circle. Your apron is done. This point for further references you can draw this round on a separate paper/card and you can use it whenever you want to without making any measurements.
Step 4: Punch hols as you see on picture below.
Step 5: Thread your ribbon through and secure it in the back.
It should look like this
Step 6: Put your A4 card front of you and stick your apron on the right side making sure you got about 2cm on top, bottom and right side
To make it easier to work with my embossing tool a but rubber band round it.
Step 7: With your embossing tool start to draw round your apron.
You should have line like this
Step 8: Once you finished drawing round it fold your card by the 2ND line. So on left you got a small margin.
Step 9: Cut round the 2ND line make sure the left side is the apron is stays.
Step 10: From your A6 paper/card cut 9cmx7cm and on the back mark it 1cm like I done it below.
Step 11: Cut corners out and fold by the lines.
Step 12: Stick it on your apron and now you just got to decorate it.

My 2nd live crafting

This is my finished card for my tutorial.
For the Xmas pud, glows&insert I used Joanna Sheen's Xmas Messy Rabbit CD
Stamped sentiment inside my insert is Crafters Companion Xmas Popcorn sentiment.

The insert is supposed to be a card but I made it smaller to use it as an insert.
The little booklet contains the recipe of Xmas Pudding.
