"It's a Man's World." over at TT

This week is Bee's turn and she chose "It's a Man's World" as it's her OH's birthday this week. I wonder who I'm gonna send off my last weeks tag and I'm sooooooooo looking forward to receive one lol

I don't know why but I only took one pic of my card. I always do few.

Well I'm sure you excuse me but be honest I'm still not well and I do struggle to make cards right now. I just wanna rest whenever I can. By the time I've got time to craft I don't want to. My nose is soooooooo blocked up I can't breez and no matter how hard I try to blow it out it does not help ;-(

Sorry I've stopped moaning promise (well for now lol)

Recipe

Tim Holtz distress inks
Debbi Moore:Beautiful Sepia&Tinted Vintage Images CD
Debbi Moore:Classical Elegance CD
Debbi Moore: Travel stamp set
Dark brown embossing powder
Glossy postcard
Old map
Ribbon

If you would like to see the rest of the DT's work pop over to TT and have a look. I won't tell you which one is my favorite as I love all of it lol

I edged my card with Vintage Photo distress ink first then from my stamp I took travel and discovery and stamped it all over with my watermark resist ink pad. Once that was done with a heat gun I dried it and inked it up with Tea Dye distress ink and Black Soot this become my base. I tore my map to the right size then I inked the torn bit with Black Soot then I inked my map with Vintage Photo. On an other postcard I stamped the words all over again but this time I coloured it with Black Soot. On a piece of leftover I stamped the Travel sentiment and embossed it.

Happy Birthday TT

I can not believe it's been almost a year I started to play along with TT. It so funny I do remember I did miss the 1st challenge and ever since I only missed if I was on holiday or I was to ill to make anything. Time flys soooooooooo quick doesn't it?
Well anyway, my fab teamie Teri from Delicious Doodles gave us fab digi to play with this week. It's yours for free so make sure you join and you grab your free image but be careful it's only there till 10am on Monday 24Th May. I can assure you this slice of cake won't make you fat lol
Recipe
Teri's digi
Crafters Companion Silver glitter spray
Charm from 99p store
Wool from my stash
Water colouring pencils
Tim Holtz distress ink
Nesties
#1 punch
I have used a C6 card for my tag what I chopped to size and cut an aperture with my nestie then coloured the front with Vintage Photo ink and spayed it with silver. The image I printed out 4 times and coloured 3 and used my star nestie to cut 2 layers for my tag. One image I used as a template, cut the balloon and cream to spray them with my silver spray. I've punched #1 out from leftover and suck it on the balloon. The front was punched out and thread the wool through then I added a charm. To finish it of I printed off a sentiment what I coloured with my pencil and stuck it on with my glue gel.
I have decided to enter this tag to Alphabet Challenge Blog where the theme is Chocolate. Thx Pat for the link lol
And I'm gonna enter it to Charisma Cardz where the theme is
SWEET TREATS!(Must include a food or drink on your creation!) Thanks Teri for the link

Challenge 10 at IACCCB

Hi everyone. Life is never easy. We had just lost our bunny. We let him hop round the garden all day long and was in his cage if it was raining or night time. He was let out as usual happily hopping round and I just happened to go on the patio and heard him crying and the same time seen the fox jumping out of the bush with Hop-Hop (that's how Alfie named him) in his/her mouth. I just screamed so loud that the fox got scared and dropped Hop-Hop. Adrian rushed him to vet but he never made it. So we had to bury our bunny. Poor Alfie keep saying Hop-Hop is ill because of the fox, bless him he does not understand Hop-Hop is gone. I screamed so loud even my neighbour came out what was the noise, now everyone knows whats my hysterical scream like lol
Ok sorry onto the challenge. This week at IACCCB we got a sketch by Wendy.
Recipe
Crafters Companion Occasions CD:Spring/Summer
Crafters Companion Silver spry
Pink glittery paper from stash
MCS graphic program
Ribbon from stash
Flat bead
I had to make a 1st Holy Communion card so I used the sketch. My friend asked for this card and when she come round later on on Sunday she told me her friend called her in tears cos she loved the card so much ( I was a bit proud of myself even dough it's not my best card)

I have found the matching backing paper to dark so I used MCS graphic program to change the colour just a bit lighter.
Inside my pocket is the hidden message. It's a little tag where I put a little massage on the back. The flower on the right bottom corner is made out of the leftover paper. I tore some circles out then crunched them up and place them on top of each other with gel glue and to finish it of put a flat bead on the middle.

My TT DT project and few more challenges

At TT is Sally's week and she gave us this:"Step out of your comfort zone!". There is so much I want to try. Such as brayering a la Barbara Gray as Pat said it on the TT blog or love to try art journals or canvas. As I had a canvas I thought I try to use it. I think I need a bit more practice lol

I decided to do two other challenges. Been so busy that I kept forgetting to do my challenge cards/projects. I do miss my challenges

At High Hopes Amy W gave a sketch what you got to fallow.

At Colour Create a fab colour combo and a pic to inspire you. The colour come is:KHAKI, AQUA, BROWN and CREAM
They got a DT call and I thought I'll give a go.

The pic to inspire you
The optional extra this week is CIRCLES

This is the original pic I used. Was taken less then 2 weeks ago. I was going to use this for my canvas and when I read circle optional at Colour Create I thought this is the perfect picture.
Recipe
Canvas(from 99p store)
Tim Holtz distress inks
High Hopes rose stamp&sentiment
Debbi Moore Classical Elegance CD
Ribbon from stash
Sheena Dougles big corner stamp
Printed off sentiment from Debbi Moore Flower Bloom CD
Pro-markers: Khaki, leaf green&marsh green
Embossing powder
Close up of my corner stamp and the little High Hopes stamped flowers.
First I coloured my canvas (brayered) with Broken china& Tie Dye ink, then I stamped out my big corners on cream paper with broken china and quickly embossed it. I printed off an A4 paper from Debbi Moore's CD and tore two strip what I edged with my khaki pro marker, then I stamped my corner onto it and lined it up with the big corner. The middle section was done after Amy W sketch. To finish it off I used one of the printed sentiment. After Alfie I wanted a little girl so the big sentiment makes it whole for me
My father in-law can make the most amazing pictures of the kids and this pic was one of his.

My DT project for IACCCB

I know I'm very late with this post. I'm still not to well but have to start to get back to normal. Thanks to Adrian on Wednesday I was able to stay in bed ALL DAY. I was so grateful to him. He looked after the kids, took the dog out for a walk in the morning and in the evening too with Alfie and Mesi. Yesterday I was back and running full speed. Ok was tired by evening and had no energy left to make cards, but I was able to do 2 loads of washing, hoovered, cooked dinner and walked the dog twice. Today haven't done anything yet. Adrian should be back from work in an hr and hopefully we can go to the park with kids on bike and take Ficko(the dog) for a walk.
So this weeks challenge was set by Karen. Karen's theme is Colour theme that has to be monotone - just one colour allowed but with different shades of that colour used.
Recipe
Tim Holtz distress inks:Scattered Straw
Vintage Photo
Debbi Moore:Classical Elegance CD
Crafters Companion clock stamps from the man's set
Wording been printed off
Sophistication Embossing Board by Glitter Girls
A3 card
My mother in law ordered this card. My father in law was 70 yesterday. I found the verse on the net here and I fell in love strait away with it. I have no measurements for the card as I just done it by eye like by eye Sue on Create&Craft lol Using my Glitter Girl board I made the main panel for the back then cut out the oval with out of a swirly paper what I distressed. The 70Th and the other wording been printed of using MCS graphic program or in word. The stamp been stamped with the Vintage Photo ink and coloured with the same ink.

PS: Just looked the stamp sets on-line and looks like the clock is not from Crafters Companion, but if it's not CC then where is it from as I got it out of men's section and that's CC I haven't got any other men set stamps

Tuesday Taggers DT project

Oh what a busy 2&1/2 weeks I had. First dad arrived with my dog from Hungary. Poor dog was hardly eating anything the 1st week. Then last Monday my in-laws came as well. I was sooooooooooooooo busy. Being rushed off my feet and tired I managed to pick up a stinking cold AGAIN. Poor dad left as well with a cold lol Yesterday he left his ID at my house so he stuck and was left in Dover. Had to pick him up . What a good job we live in Ramsgate and my friend is such a good friend she helped me out to pick dad up by car as we have no car, and top of that she offered me to take dad back today this morning although dad had to be dropped off 2 hrs before it was time for him to check in as we had to do our school run too. So lets cross fingers and dad found the right bus to Hungary lol Now its off my chest
So this weeks challenge was set by me and the theme is recycling as I do love reusing whatever I come across with. I've got so much stuff waiting to be reused. How about you, do you have loads? I bet you do lol Go and check out the rest of the DT's work. They came up with amazing projects.
As you can see I have used this 3 pages to make my card. The first 2 page made my butterfly and the last one is the base what I painted with white acrylic paint, then with my Tim Holtz distress inks I stamped few butterflies, cut 5"x5" square and used my MS punch to give a nice edge. I cut out 3 different size rough circles for my flower and used one left over punched out flower for the middle. I made a paper bead for my butterfly body and used some wire too. Printed of the words to finish my card off.

Just had a news from dad he has left the country. Finaly lol
