CLP DT call

I forgot to add this pic so had to put it on the top.

I'm so late with this post but with dad being here and poor Alfie got an ear infection just hardly got any free time to do anything. Poor Alfie was in such a pain yesterday I was crying with him. We never seen him in this kind of pain before and I hope I don't have to see it any time soon.Well anyway this card I made for Chelsea's DT call over at CLP and I thought enter this into her monthly challenge as well. This is the sketch we were given but I rotated it.

Ingredients

Prairie Fairy digi stamp:Daisy Fairy

High Hope's mushroom stamp

Big paper flower from MCS CD

Paper from stash

Labels (forgot where they came from)

Water colouring pencils

Buttons&ribbons from stash

Fancy scissors

Pearl liquid acrylic paint

On this pretty fairy I have coloured the wing 1st with my watercolour pencils then with my pear acrylic paint. Unfortunately pic doesn't show it at all but it's shiny.

Few month ago have printed these tag out but can't remember where from but I love using them.

I have seen a similar card like this somewhere and I thought I can do one as well. I just love the fact it's in a pocket rather then an envelope.

I have used the inside flower for outside as well and some tags and ribbon too. I thought it was still bear so added some buttons as well.

My TT DT offering

This week theme at TT is DRAGONS, in honour of St. Georges Day this Friday picked by Teri. Pop over the blog and see the rest of the DT's work, it's wow. This week is being sponsored bt Tanda Stamps.
I know how to take the best pick of my project and it's not daylight anymore but under my kitchen light at night and will get the true colour of my project/card lol I know sounds silly but so far this what works best. Will see in future.

Oh I had straggled with this project. Not because I had no idea but my quicky glue pan was playing up on my acetate. Picked a different glue what I've seen so many times being used for medallion stamping and I've got the exactly same glue but still no good, then I tried to colour it with my Sakura glaze pen but looked horrible, so in the end I just printed my image off again and coloured it with my watercolour pencils and stick it front of my frame what I made IACCCB. How I made it and what I used you can see it in one post below

My DT project for IACCCB

I was going to cheat then I found a printable frame on one of my My Craft Studio CD and it's so easy and quick to put it together. This week Christine asked us to make a 3D project, so this picture frame what I made. I think this is gonna go into my kids room lol
This week our sponsor is Lothian Craft and we were offered a fab set of Cute Companion stamp pate.
Ingredients
Crafters Companion Lavender Cd
Crafters Companion Lavender and sentiment stamp
MCS CD
Tim Holtz Dusty Concourd distress ink
Water colour pencils
Liquid acrylic pearl
The hardest and the longest part on this project was the stamping, colouring and cutting out lol that took longer than cutting my decoupage what I re sized in MCS as it was too big for this C6 frame and I have coloured her wing and skirt with liquid acrylic pearl. I have printed the background from the Lavender CD too. The sentiment was stamped out and torn then inked and edged with my loved Tim Holtz distress ink pad. The little lavender bush been stamped out few times then coloured and cut out once completely, twice only the green and once just the lavender with a bit of green

Go and see what the rest of the DT come up with.

My DT project for TT

This is Emma's week at TT and she is the Birthday Girl and Emma asked for cakes and balloons. You can't blame her can you, there is no birthday without cake. So here is mine for you Emma and
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday dear Emma,
Happy Birthday to you!
I'm glad no one heard me to sing this lol
I have seen a similar card somewhere so I thought I'll try it too. Had no measurements so I made mine up.
Recipe
Digi stamp by Sliekje
Pin hat
My MS punch
Ribbon, hat pin and gems from stash
Balloon punch
Spillbinder label die cut&nestie
Water colouring pencils
Liquid pearl
It's a very simple card but I love the little pouch what you put it into. The base is 5"x5" just to make it easy to use my MS punch. I cut out one in white and one in lilac and cut of the edge of the lilac one what I put on top of the white one. I coloured my digi stamps with water colouring pencils. I decorated it with gem, ribbon & gems.
The bottom is very quick one as well. It's a 5"x10" with ears on one half then fold in half and glue. I cut out a nice fancy label and used my distress ink before I lifted the die off. Cut out flower border with my MS and used some gems for the middle of the flowers.

This is how it looks when you pull it out.

My TT DT work and High Hopes Challenge

This week at TT our GTD Georgina Ellis picked our them and she asked us to make a tag and she kindly sponsoring TT this week. Hop to TT's blog and see what the rest of the DT created. You'll be surprised how much can you put onto a tag, so much ideas.
I haven't played along with High Hopes in the last 6-8 weeks. I was so busy just had no time to do my fav challenges. Hopefully I'm back on track now. This week's theme was Little Gem.
Recipe
Language tag
High Hopes stamp
Flowers from stash
Gems
Water colouring pencils
Tim Holtz distress inks
Glitter
I have distressed my tag with my Tim Holtz inks. I've coloured my image with my pencils and once it was done I stamped an other image out where I cut the dress out and used it as a mask and sprayed it with my silver glitter spray. For her belt I used green glitter. I have stacked her onto a big flower so she looks like taking off :-) On her hat I used gems instead of the leafs. I scattered few more gems to finish it off.
