Inspired by poem over at TIOT

Well this one should be easy, the most difficult one was which poem to pick and being a Hungarian my heart was pulling towards the Hungarian poems but I settled with one I found on the Internet as I wanted to use a certain image. Here is the link to the poem, sorry to long to type it up lol

This week is a free choice over at TIOT which means you can make whatever you wish as long as it's a poem inspired and you show us yr poem (well mine do have the link) Carole picked the theme to celebrate Robbie Burns 25th anniversary.

I've got a very soft spot for cupcake digi's plus I love the Dottie digi's from Bugaboo. I paper pieced Dottie so she's matching with the DP/BP and I glittered her dress up and the sentiment paper. When I've seen the sentiment I just knew it's the perfect match for Dottie, I wish I would have a waist like she does or she's just got a big bum lol well anyway she is gorgeous

As it's Bugaboos 1st birthday and they celebrating with lodas of challenges I enter this into their main challenge: Birthday Challenge

I can't belive it I just messed my background up, wanted to change it and everything went pear shaped, got to figure out how to do it back, even my header is of set, boohoo, maybe in the morning with the clear head I can do it better. Now I'm way to tired to do it.

Tri colour over at Delicious Doodles

WOW I thought it's gonna be easy peasy to make a card with only 3 colours but it's not, well maybe I just choose the wrong image lol Next time I choose the zebra or the polar bears lol

Well anyway I did make a card and I picked the gorgeous birthday cake what I just LOVE, you can find the cake in the shop . If you like to play along with us hop on the blog and check out what can you get if you win

First I cut out the cake with the frame then I cut the front of the card with the frame. The cake was stuck inside the card then on top of it went the frame on 3D foam pads, now the frame higher than the front of the card, ( it's just clicked forgot to take a pic of that better do more pick so you can see what I'm talking abt) The cake been decorated with flower soft and glitter and round it is red flower soft. Round the frame been coloured with red pro marker, I have printed off the sentiment then I cut it with the die what I coloured with my TH ink. I have cut out few flourish what was coloured with the same ink as the tag. My lovely lacy ribbon was pulled with an other little ribbon, one flower &flat gem and job done

I can't crochet but my mum can and she's been making me the flowers, hopefully have more by the time I go back to Hungary in the summer

Man's World they wish lol

Have you seen the new face of Tuesday Taggers blog? Well it's not called TT any more but Try it on Tuesday it is the same old link though. The change was needed as we not just a tag challenge any more. You asking what change gonna mean, well here is a little explanation:

Our first change will be that we will have set challenges each week. We have worked on a four weekly cycle so

Week 1 - Is a card week. Our team will set a theme for you to make a card to play along.

Week 2 is tag week - again a theme will be set for you to make a tag.

Week 3 is anything goes - any project around the theme set for that week.

Week 4 is an altered art week. Now because altered art can take more planning and work we will give you the theme for the altered art at the beginning of each month so you have time to think and plan before the actual altered art week.

Yes I know sometimes we have 5 weeks in a month!

So those extra weeks will be a Wild Card week! Could be absolutely anything but something quite away from our usual challenges.

Over at TIOT old TT is a tag week and a man theme.

I had to make a sexy tag, for some reason didn't really fancy dark tag as winter is dark enough for me lol

 I fell in love with this image when I've seen it and thought will make a fab birthday tag to any man. I have printed the base cake out big enough to cover the image underneath. On the top the froth is done with green pearly doodle then with my finger put some cosmic shimmer powder on it. On the bottom layer inside the cake with a fine liner pen I wrote surprise then printed of the TLC sentiment and made it into a little tag what I attached to there main tag. Woala my tag is done.

 

I'm gonna enter this tag into the Bugaboo challenge where the theme is Let's emboss it.

I'm back and my 1st Baby Bad challenge post as DT and not player

I was sooooooooooooooo looking forward to this. First of all there is a realise Baby Max and Baby Molly you can check it out in the Etsy-shop, you got to love them, they make fab cards.

Today is the start of another fun challenge! The theme for Challenge #4 is FRIENDS!

We'd love to see your creations using any kind of friendship theme!

The only rule we have is that you must use a Baby Bud Image!!!

The challenge will run until February 23, 2011 at noon E.S.T. A random winner will be selected and the prize? 3 Free Digis from the Etsy Shop!

Here is my card

 I just bought this fab glitter card and it's matching with my yellow glitter, exactly the same shade, I was over the moon when I realised it. Lately I stuck with my watercolour pencils but some point got to get the strengths and try to master my Pro-markers lol

It's a simple card not over done (that's what I think lol ) Simple background what's been coloured with my TH distress inks, few buttons and MS punched border and of course the sentiment is from TLC.

Old Father Time

I tell you had no idea what to do with the theme for this week, took me over 2 weeks to put this card together, mojo left me, never happened before lol

For some reason lately I can't finish my cards, the last little bit that finishing touch is just not with me right now,but I'm quiet happy with this result, may fav bit is the hanging little clock what can be taken off and can be used on bag, key or phone charm whatever the recipient want

 On my base card I stamped the big corner in red then on the green I stamped in black in two opposites corner an the other two opposite corners I just used a embossing ink then embossed it with silver pearl, pic doesn't show it to well, the rest was easy-peasy. Stamped the clock on black shrink plastic with my white stayz-on and got the chain from my stash to be able to hang it on my tag. Coloured & glittered and job done lol But I can tell you it wasn't this simple because it took me over 2 weeks to finish it lol

Oh yeah the babble was made with liquid applique just love that staff.

Showcase your year

It is an easy week over at TT, you got to pick your favourite cards/projects of 2010. Hehe easy it was difficult for me lol there are so many to pick but max 6, well anyway here they are

I just have to love this, nothing biggie but this is the 1st time I used canvas and it's my little Princess on it.

Well this set, started as a box, then I thought it'll make a lovely present so I made the matching bookmark and ATC and once I finished it I just fell in love with it and was very very hard to apart with it lol The Digi is Delicious Doodle Digi

This was made for the Birthday week Teri (who was our teamie) designed this for this challenge. Since she left TT she's got her own Digi Shop

Unfortunately I can't give you an inside pic as it was scanned as at the time I was in Hungary on holiday and that was the only way I could take a pic. I was pleased with the result as I only had few stamps and some ink with me and that was it. I have cut an oval in the middle and all the pots inside. In the front I did stick a layer of flowers onto the right&left and as the theme was boots, heels &shoes I used the boots stamp what I paper pieced.
