My DT project for TT

Well an other week passed and so quickly. At TT we had to make a project and take a pic of our mess. You know whenever I use inks I'm covered all over. Well guess what only my thumb got messy, how that happen no idea.
Recipe
An old cake bottom
Tim Holtz distress inks
Tim Holtz alcohol inks
Red&Black Stayzon
Debbi Moore stamps:Travel
Debbi Moore metal magic
Clock mechanism
A scrap white tissue paper
As you can see on the tile I used my alcohol inks to colour my clock base. On the tissue paper I stamped 2 images one with black and the other in red stayzon. Accuracy wasn't an issue as I was going to glue it and scrabble it. Before I glued it I used my distress inks randomly. Once I was happy with the result I just stuck it to the base. With metal magic I made 4 aeroplane from the stamp set made a background for it so it wont just melt into the clock background. When I finished it I found it to dark so stamped few words out and scrunched it inked it glued it on and it was finished

This wasn't my idea. I was blog hopping and found a Tiffany's blog whit this peg idea and many more. Tiffany even got templates so just hop over and check it out. The only extra I did is the back. I added some magnets to it so can be added to the fridge.
I printed a matching acetate for my window.
To make sure my box closes down I used this funky wool what I bought last week and only 50 pence.

My DT project for Tuesday Taggers Challenge

My apologies to everyone for the late posting. I had my friend and her friend over here for crafting session. It was sooooo good. I needed it. We didn't make anything though as my friend's friend is a new be and we tried to explain her and tell her what she needs to start off lol bless she's got only a bag of stuff and we told her we can't put our stuff in 1 bag lol
Well anyway this is my approach of time/clock what my teamie (Michelle poor thing not feeling to well now) picked at Tuesday Taggers well this is my approach. The inspiration came from Craft Stamper magazine( I think it's in the February one).
Recipe
Debbi Moore stamps:Travel
Debbi Moore black embossing powder
Debbi Moore cooper metal magic
Scrap paper&wire
Black&white ribbon
Photograph
Shrink Plastic
Card board for the base
My nesties
Took me so long to cut out the hole for the ribbon, probably took me longer than the whole project together ok maybe not but did take me forever as it's cardboard. Once I had the hole I embossed my wording as a background. One sentiment is embossed the other one just stamped out (I couldn't get the embossing right on the other one so just gave up in the end)
I was blog hoping when I found a template how to make this butterfly (so if you see this pls let me know so I can give the credit to the right person) I printed out a page and it didn't turn out it was supposed to so I made the butterfly out of it and as a body cut out a long triangle piece of paper and made it into paper bead cut it into two and into the top I stuck some wire and my butterfly was made.I cut out my sentiments and pictures with my nesties and used 3D pads with them. As finishing touches I stamped "grandfather's" clock on black shrink plastic and scattered it round my project.
I used the metal magic here. You have to be fairly quick but it worse it. And if you mess it up no problem you just re-heat it again and have an other go.

Tuesday Taggers Challenge

Sadly or happily this my last post entering TT from tomorrow I'll be the other side you gonna see my project in the DT line, how cool is that. Be honest still in shock I feel truly honored to "work" alongside with those talented ladies. I think I didn't take enough pic of my project.
Recipe for this this project
Crafters Companion Love CD
Crafters Companion cherub,heart&Always&Forever stamps
Creative expressions: Swirl stamps
Shakura stardust pens
Lace ribbon
Recycled foil from my hot chocolate
Recycled ribbon from a box of chocolate
Heart chipboard from Hobby Craft
Pearl Touch:Parma 404
Tim Holtz inks: Fired Brick&Aged Mahogany
My inspiration came from the February Craft Stamper magazine. In the magazine the lady used digi downloads and different stamps. I created my paper using my Tim Holtz inks and my Creative Expression big corner and big swirl stamp. I love these stamps. I fallowed the instruction how to fold the letter, how to make the box for it and how to make the rose (what I'll be making more of it as it's so simple). When I got time I'll make tutorial for everything but right now just got too much going on. The heart embellishment I covered it with the Pearl Touch (on pick is not dry yet) and stuck my stamp in it and I let it rest abt 2hrs (should leave it till it's dry but I had no time to do it lol ) The letter is hiding in the secret compartment. You pick the rose up and there is a small hole what let's you to pull the self and there is your letter. It's a fab origami letter but forgot to take pic of it while I was making it.
I have printed few extras to wrap little presents up. The CD didn't fit into one A4 sheet so I made a sleeve round it to cover the gap and made an other heart embellishment to decorate it. On the little bag I used the tag what's left from the box and a recycled ribbon.

Thanks dropping by have a nice day.

My DT card for IACCCB VS Saturday Spotlight CHB

The theme at IACCCB is: buttons & glitter and two pictures for inspiration from Rachel isn't it a gorgeous colour. I love purple/lilac so my card is purple all over lol Just the rose itself gave me so much ideas but could not fit all in one project/card. So hope over and check out the rest of the DT work.

Recipe for this project
Crafters Companion Love CD
Purple glitter
Purple shiny thread
White roses
My star nesties
Letter punch
Purple kids paint in the tub
Liquid Acrylic white pearlescent
Black paper for matting&layering
Cork
So what do you think would it fit the bill lol. I printed my main paper from CC Love CD (I think it's on CD2) what I simply mated onto the black paper. I have coloured my rose with purple paint but I used a bit of my fluid pearlescent paint to to give the lovely shiny effect and coloured a piece of white paper too to cut out my stars with my nestie. Used two stars and one negative for the middle. I do have loads of purple buttons but I'd like to enter this card for the Saturday Spotlight Challenge Blog where the theme is: use a household item so that's where my cork comes in. I sliced it and painted it with my paints and drilled two holes in each. On the middle one I thread through the roses and top of it put letter "A" the others simply got the shiny purple thread and the letters so you can read "U R A STAR". To finish it of I highlighted some roses with my glitter.

A quick card

I made this card for my friend's son's 5th birthday.
Recipe for this project
Basic Grey dinosaurs stamps
Shrink Plastic
Kaleidacolor: Fresh Green
Brayer
Green Glitter
Nesty label
What a surprise an other easel card, I just can't stop making them right now lol
I bought this stamp set not long ago and I thought ink it up. My friend's son loves dinosaurs.
I've stamped my dino out and I used my brayer to colour the background. I stamped all the backgrounds with different stamps from the set. On te bottom I used the leftover label bits as I didn't want to waist it. The label was made with a photo shop program (just getting hang of it lol) and it was coloured with the brayer
