My friend's doughters BD card

I had to come up with a good keepsake, so I designed a new type of wordbook. Loads of work went into it but it was worth every minute of it.
Crafters Companion: Cute Companion CD
Crafters Companion Stamps
My craft Studio CD
Other little bit's and bobs
For the front I used tags what I opened up in My Craft Studio (MCS) and re sized it then wrote the wording in it.
Below is the top view of my card. The letters were re sized in MCS so all the same size.
On the 1st page I used an envelop what I made smaller with MCS and I wrote Happy Birthday Lilly what I copied several times and dragged it onto the envelope than cut it out.
Here just used some of my cute stamps and the balloon is from popcorn set.
The small pillow box was again re sized in MCS
For the back I used the banner and inside I wrote "Lilly's 1 today" with MCS and used few more little embellishment from my stash.
I'm just getting the hang of MCS CD and I really really enjoy it.
For this card I haven't used really any measurements just done the folding as needed.

4 challenge in 1

Challenge 1: Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential-Hat
Challenge 2: High Hopes- Jeanette's sketch
Challenge 3: Tuesday Taggers-Theme of Lights
Challenge 4: Colour Create-Green/Red/White-Christmas
High Hope stamp: Mudzie's Gift
Crafters Companion hat&snow flake stamp
Tim Holtz distress inks for colouring
Shakura glitter pens
DCWV backing paper and some from my stash
Glitter glue
Merry Christmas confetti
I've stamped out Mudzie and cut it out. I coloured him with my distress inks and my glitter pens. I wasn't sure I can bring Saturday Spotlight Challenge in but I found my little hat stamp and bingo lol The hat looks like was made for Mudzie. Mudzie's lights makes it perfect for the Tuesday Taggers Challenge and because the colour suits the Colour Create Challenge I decided to enter 3rd time too.
Inside on the right I used my snow flake stamp and a sentiment stamp on vellum, on the other side i used left over bits and I think the confetti works well inside

Challenge 2: Colour Create green/red/white-Christmas
Cute Companion Stamps
Some left over backing paper not sure which CD
Doyley paper
When I seen the sketch I just had to start it strait away. Love this one sooooooooooo much, the only problem is that I forgot the given colours by Rachel so girls(at Crafters Companion) if my card is not good enough please let me know and I make an other one. I had loads of leftover bits and bobs and I just had to used them. The ribbon bit was crying out for glitter so I had to put a bit in there.
This skim suited the Colour Create Challenge so I thought I do 2nd entry.
Inside again I used left over and a sentiment stamp

5 challenge in 1 card

I never tried so many challenges in one.
Challenge 1: High Hopes:snowflake
Challenge 2: Colour Create:Blue,Silver,White
Challenge 3: Tuesday Taggers:Bag/Party
Challenge 4: Crafters Companion:Yvonne's fab sketch
Challenge 5: Saturday Spotlight:Words/Sentiments
High Hopes: Snawlady stamp
Crafters Companion: sentiment stamp, snowman stamp & teabag paper for corners & Xmas Collection CD2
Silver snowflake charm
Beads from stash
Cotton wool
Watercolour pencils

I have coloured my snow lady with my pencil es and used just a bit of glitter on her head. With the little fellows on her side I used glitter all over and for the woolly effect on hat and glows rim I used cotton wool. The sentiment simply stamped out and glittered. For the handle I used my beads and put my silver snowflake charm on it.
For inside I used border and cut it out so it's not so boring inside,I used my old CD for insert and used spray&sparkle on it.

Mesi's Birthday Card

Well this is my 1st WORD BOOK. I think it's turned out quiet nice.
Crafters Companions:Flower Fairies CD/Rose&Rose stamp
Crafters Companion Cute mice stamp
Crafters companion Popcorn stamp/Balloons
Gam,ribbon,peel off from stash
Gold embossing powder
Sakura Stardust pens
Letter punch
This is the finished word book. I had to resize the letters as "M" was the biggest one and the rest wasn't as high as "M" so transferred it into My Craft Studio and resized it so all same size. When I had my "M" on the size I wanted I put the next top of it and made it transparent so I can see "M" underneath and I was able too match the size perfectly. Once it was done pulled it onto the grey area and I done the next one. After holiday will do tutorial for this or might do it before if I got time for it.
He I mixed my stamps. I love Souffle from the Popcorn range and Rose from the Fairy range. I found these nice butterfly peel off so I thought it goes well with the colour skim.
Here is a mix of stamps again but I it works really well together
Oh my hidden gems lol don't use them to often they like diamonds to me. Rose fairy on the front and here is from the CD but made it bit smaller in My Craft Studio. Getting hang of My Craft Studio now, been sitting in my draw for month not to know what to do with it, bad isn't it?! Well now put it in good use. Got an other word book on the go with different technique.
