Old Father Time

I tell you had no idea what to do with the theme for this week, took me over 2 weeks to put this card together, mojo left me, never happened before lol
For some reason lately I can't finish my cards, the last little bit that finishing touch is just not with me right now,but I'm quiet happy with this result, may fav bit is the hanging little clock what can be taken off and can be used on bag, key or phone charm whatever the recipient want
Ok I stop all that chattering, here is my card

Recipe

Nestability
Paper from stash
Creative Expression swirl stamp
Tim Holtz stamp (the watch)
Shakura glitter pan
Shrink plastic
Glitter
Water colour pencils
On my base card I stamped the big corner in red then on the green I stamped in black in two opposites corner an the other two opposite corners I just used a embossing ink then embossed it with silver pearl, pic doesn't show it to well, the rest was easy-peasy. Stamped the clock on black shrink plastic with my white stayz-on and got the chain from my stash to be able to hang it on my tag. Coloured & glittered and job done lol But I can tell you it wasn't this simple because it took me over 2 weeks to finish it lol
Oh yeah the babble was made with liquid applique just love that staff.

Pop over to TT and see rest of the DT's work and don't forget our sponsor for this week is the fab Craft Barn

Happy crafting

Showcase your year

It is an easy week over at TT, you got to pick your favourite cards/projects of 2010. Hehe easy it was difficult for me lol there are so many to pick but max 6, well anyway here they are

I just have to love this, nothing biggie but this is the 1st time I used canvas and it's my little Princess on it.

Well this set, started as a box, then I thought it'll make a lovely present so I made the matching bookmark and ATC and once I finished it I just fell in love with it and was very very hard to apart with it lol The Digi is Delicious Doodle Digi
This was made for the Birthday week Teri (who was our teamie) designed this for this challenge. Since she left TT she's got her own Digi Shop

and inside

Unfortunately I can't give you an inside pic as it was scanned as at the time I was in Hungary on holiday and that was the only way I could take a pic. I was pleased with the result as I only had few stamps and some ink with me and that was it. I have cut an oval in the middle and all the pots inside. In the front I did stick a layer of flowers onto the right&left and as the theme was boots, heels &shoes I used the boots stamp what I paper pieced.

My late post

Sorry being soooooooooo late with this post. I'm bit feeling down. Have not crafted for abt 5 days. Kids stressed me out so much I just not in crafting mood. Had fab day with kids yesterday and an OK day today. Well anyway here is my offering for the Delicious Doodle 4th challenge. We had a recipe: 3 embellishment, 2 DP and 1 topper.
 Recipe
Crafter's Companion Adorables CD
Snowy mailbox Digi from Delicious Doodles
Christmas Star BP from Delicious Doodles
Marianna poinsettia die cut
Whimsical ticket die cut and stamp
Polar white flower soft
Ribbon from stash
Glitter
Water colour pencils
I made this for Alfie's teachers. I just thought it's a good Xmas card as well as a present. The image only needed a splash of colour and for the snow I used the polar white flower soft and glitter on the top. On the picture above you can see the glitter really well. Normally I can't take a good pic when I use glitter but this one turned out fab. Now this was my 1 topper. One of my BP is from my Adorables CD
the other one is from Delicious Doodles. My 3 embellishment are ribbon, ticket and poinsettia.

Ok a 2nd post from me for today

I'm pushing myself and thought gonna apply for an other DT position, yes I know I'm silly but I fell in love with those images so I'm gonna give a try. It is over at Stamp Fairy and there is few freebies to fetch and there is new freebie as well.
I made 2 cards and I know you already seen them but had no time to post my DT application yet just had to finish that 28 Xmas cards, so blogland had to wait for me but this morning last cards went out too, although I still got to make cards for friends but I can take it easy on that.
Well anyway here is the card you already seen from me the other day
Close up of my gingerbread guy

Sorry Jackie not the best pic.
Alfie got 8 nursery teachers and I thought I make this tea-candle holder as a card as well as a little present. The sentiment is from TLC and when I've seen this little fellow strait away I knew what sentiment to use for him and of course had to use the BP/DP from one of my old Crafters Companion CD (Xmas Collection CD1) which was among their 1st CDs. I tell you got 2 draws full of their CDs and lads and loads of stamps I've got, but not long ago I've got hooked on digi and just can't leave them alone lol I've got the two gingerbread guys from the Gingerbreadbabies Christmas set
I have glittered the decorations on the wreath, here and there you can see a glimpse of the shines and the iceing on the baby is liquid applique. I have used my new Marianne icicle die what I sprayed with one of the Crafter's Companion glitter spray. The sentiment is just brill and to finish it off on a jump ring attached a small wreath onto the ribbon

Now the really really hard part comes, I have to choose 2 more cards, ok which one to choose as I do have loads of fev ones lol
Here is my 1st choice. The little cutie is Delicious Doodle image the box is an old cheese box turned into card as well as gift box and the matching bookmark and ATC

My 2nd choice is a 2nd Birthday card what I made for my friend's daughter. I choose this because I never done a card with so much on it

Here is a better pick of her. I didn't realised the pic I took wasn't good till I've gave the card to the little girl.

Phew this was hard and I'm sure still loads to pick from lol
If you think you would like to apply rush over to Stamp Fairy you got time till the 13th

In August I applied for a DT position for Baby Bud designs, well I got in for the 2nd round which means you def see me there from January till April. I fell in love with those sweet images. They so easy to colour. Just to show you, here is some of my Baby Bud cards
This was made for my mum's 60est
Made this for one of my neighbour's BD who got loads of beautifully flowers in her garden, so I strait
away I thought of my cute Baby Bud images.
This was made for a friend who was 61 not long ago and I just had to turn the numbers other way round lol
And this one was made for my little Princess's BD from big bro
There is a challenge right now over at Baby Bud and you get a free image to play with
This month you got the chance to play with Holly
Don't tell she is not adorable?!

If you like what you see and want to lay your hands on more Baby Bud images why don't you pop over Etsy store and get some more

Deck the Hall

This week the theme over at TT is deck the Hall set by our very talented Michelle. For me means decoration but I have made one for last week challenge so I made a card with the Wreath. I haven't decorated the house yet. We don't do it till the 24th really. Once kids in bed on the 23rd we decorate the hall and the Xmas tree. Decorating the Xmas tree on the 24th it's a Hungarian habit, I'm sooooooooo looking forward to it. The 1st year when Alfie knows what he is asking for, he doesn't one bike because he's got a small motorbike (end of the day it is  bike right lol) well he needs a big boys bike so we'll get him but he wants a blue transformer and he has stuck with this for weeks so I have to get one but all the little ones(what suits his age) from Argos for abt £4.99 not guaranteed you gonna get blue so I have to do the 3 for 2 deal and cross fingers there will be one blue in it lol

Anyway here is my card
 Recipe
Digi from Stamp Fairy
Word art from TLC
DP from Crafters Companion Xmas collection CD1
Crafter's Companion glitter spray
Marianne icicle die
Ribbon&Wreath from stash
Tea candle from Home base
Water colouring pencils
Glitter

On the WA you can see the speckles from the glitter spray
I attached the Wreath to the ribbon with a jump ring

Santa's boot

Before I post my card just have to show you what fun the kids had today. I bet you never thought of using your unused send pit like this lol Put my OH's belt in the handle and it was ready to pull. The little girl in the blue overall is Mesi the other is Lilly my friend's little girl. Alfie is in the blue hat and Lilly's big brother Luke is in my read jumper lol Oh and my dog in the back and the guy pulling is my friend hubby. They had a hell of a time, well so did I. We leave in a cul-de-sec and it's slightly sloping so it's a brill place at snow time

OK now my card finally lol

Over at TT the theme is St Nicolas. In Hungary we celebrate him on the 6th of December and we get chocolate and other little goodies in our boots, no toys. So when I've seen this Boots from Make it Crafty I just fell in love with it. I love this boot from Zoe and she's got wicked elf to go with it too, but I made this for the  CDAC challenge where we had to make a scene with the boot so I've thought combining the two challenges. Other digi's I used: Word Art from TLC, mouse, bear angel & Santa train from Doodle Dragon Studio and the little gingerbread man is from Stamp Fairy. No more lol

 Recipe
Digi's from above websites
Liquid applique
Glitter
Cloud stamp
Water colour penciles

I think the first time in my life I was able to capture the glitter sooooooo nicely.

I used gold to colour the stick but doesn't show ;-(
I put the WA into the bell. The mouse is a cheat  I so wanted to finish in time so all of Dustin Pike images precoloured (blush blush)

And from the side

Tuasday Taggers & Delicious Doodles #2 challenge

Before I start my post I'd like to post the winner from the blog hop. I'm no use for random.org so I just wrote it out and drew the winer and the winer is....

Julye
Congrats Julie
Let me know which image would you like out of the 4 and e-mail me www dot feherhattyu at yahoo dot co dot uk
And now onto my post

I'm soooooooo late with my TT work, but believe it or not on a simple "Decoration" I blanked out, sorry Janet (she's the one who challenged us this week). I was just sitting front of my PC for days after days what to do, then I found a fab image what I printed of but never used as it would've been way to simple, so I decided to use Teri's 12 days of Xmas (again lol) mixed it with TLC digi's and the bottom sentiment is TLC as well
Here is the pick

It is not just a decoration, it does have it's purpose.
How does it work: 3 more pic is missing but once Teri finished it I'll be bale to finished it too but at the moment the missing pictures places are covered up with it's matching number which actually showing you how does it work. So it is a count down till the Xmas tree got to go. This way Alfie and Mesi will know when the  last number  covers the picture the Xmas tree got to go. Alfie is 3&1/2 and rally really looking forward to Christmas, Mesi still too little (2 yrs) to understand who's Santa. I just want them to understand the Xmas tree is not for the whole year and it does have to go. And maybe this way they won't be so sad the tree got to go.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh just realised I don't have the Hungarian sweets for my tree it's the 1st time since I came back(abt 9 yrs ago) that I forgot to bring some back, I'm gonna miss it soooooooooooo much, Alfie nicked it last year from the tree lol it was so funny, he got one and hid under the table to eat it, he thought if he's under there we can't see him lol
To be honest the picture does not give justice, so much better in real life, grrrrrr. The whole thing is shiny and sparkly from glitter spray, Shakure glitter pen and Cosmic Shimmer Misters oh and a hint of glitter too.
Anyway here is few close up
Such a cute little gingerbread button

Maybe here on the snow flake you can see a bit of sparkle.
When I seen this sentiment on TLC shop I just had to have it and use it.

Well I hope you like it
