Shoes, heels and others updated

Hiya. This is a quick one. Over a TT we got shoes. So pop over and have a look what the DT come up with. Just fab.
Once I got more time to sit down I will tell you more abt how I made the card.

Back from holiday so now got bit of time to update this post

Recipe
Crafters Companion stamps from the Cute Companion range
Tim Holtz distress inks
Scrap paper

I stamped the boots out twice once on plain paper where I coulourd the heels then on spottied paper what I cut out then stick it onto the original. I had this left over card with the oval in the midle and I thought would make a perfect frame. Coloured it with ink then I have staped the stones few times and stamped grass into it as well. Before I fixed it onto the card I stamped out the pot and flower three times coloured the background then arranged the pots and put the frame on too. Once I was happy with my frame I fixed the boots onto the frame and to finish the whole card of I staped a little bird and 2 corner. Oh yeh the base card was inked too.
Unfortunetly not the best shot but have no more as it was sent to my little friend.

Lets go back in time to our Literary Past

Wow last week at Tuesday Tagger we had 107 entries. How cool is that. We were over the moon. Thanks everyone who entered our last challenge.

This week was my turn and I asked for Vintage Bookmark. I never thought it's gonna cause a problem. I had to put my thinking cap on as I realised it's a small piece where I got to create. I found a brill digi image over on Beccy's blog , she got loads of free digi's so pop over and have a look, but if you do download please don't forget to say thank you. Oh and she just added to cute ones. The sentiment is form Create with TLC, she's got oodles and oodles of word art. If you pop over to her blog make sure you got a cupper with you. If I miss out month or bit more takes me good hr or more to get all those gorgeous art work and loads more in her shop. Oh yeah and if you do download Paulette's work say thank you, don't want to nag you about manners but even myself I do forget to say thank you sometimes and once I turned PC I remember what I haven't done.
Recipe
Beccy's free digi
Paulette's free word art
Tim Holt's distress inks
Water colouring pencil
Nestis
Gloss lacquer

I have put the digi images  into my MCS to be able to print out the size I want. I printed out extra label to be able to cut out with my nesty and  two extra wine bottle, one for masking and one for decoupage.
First I masked the bottle and distressed it with my Tim Holtz ink, once it was done pulled it of and coloured it with my water colour pencils. The wine glasses were glossed but not the bottle, now thinking maybe I should've glossed that too lol

I'm going to enter this book mark:
Papertake weekly challenge blog: Ice Cream Flavours, mine is chocolate, strawberry and pistachio
There She Goes: Worn, Torn & Distressed
Lexi creation: Something old (not me lol)
Stamp in moment: Simply Sponged

In bloom

Wow all that entry for the last challenge, looks like loads of us like giving texture to our cards. So many talented ladies out there.
Well this week is Janete's turn at TT and she picked "All that blooms". Surely you can do this. We all use flowers on our cards. Pop over TT and check out the DT projects. They just fab.
Recipe
An empty matchbox
Debbi More Classical Elegance CD
Debbi Moore The Flower Bloom CD
Flower punched
Tim Holtz Distress ink
Black embossing powder
White Acrylic paint
Crafters Companion Spray&Shine
Buttons&Ribbon from stash

First I took apart the top so I can paint it the stamp the script and emboss it. After I used the Black Soot distress ink. Put it back together and punched my flowers. The biggest and middle one are quoter flowers what I had to build up and because they not flat they give dimension to the flower. The top flower just a normal flower punch and to finish the flower of just used a flat bead. I printed of the sentiment from the the CD and varnished it with the spray. With in 2 month I'm on the 2nd can and it's running low. Maybe I use it too much. Well I think bit of shine look good. I have bought these leaf punch(s in 3 size) years ago (3 yrs) and this is probably the 3rd time Ive used it. I just keep forgetting I've got them lol but don't you do the same? Oh I bet you do!
Oh enough of me yapping. I didn't take the inside apart I just covered it with paper then stitched on 2 buttons (1 inside the other out side) and made sure I put the pearl button on before (happened on the 2nd go but did get there in the end lol )
I made a sentiment which sits inside the box perfectly, I've varnished this one too. Punched a hole on the sentiment and just put a small ribbon so it's easy to lift it out. I have made a mistake can you spot it?! I bet everyone screaming how blind I'm using different colour ribbon. I know got to change it but last night when I found this bit of ribbon (my friend was abt to through it away and I just had to save it lol) after matching the colours up and seen it's not good I had no energy to change it but will do it I promise.

I'm gonna enter this into the fallowing Challenges:
Charisma Cardz:Flowers sponsored by Simon Says
The Crazy Challenge:Distress Inks sponsored by Hobbisimo
Si r stampalot:Punch It
Alphabet Challenge:F for Flower
My Time to Craft:Xtra special. This is one of my Debbi Moore sample I hope it's Xtra special enough

This is it as Sir stampalot rule is only 5 challenges.

V is for Vintage

Over at ABC challenge the theme is Vintage. I have made so many vintage card so had no trouble to pick one. Ok did have trouble to pick as I've got abt 15 cards to pick out of lol

This triangle easle card is one of my favourite.

Recipe

Debbi Moore Paper Delight CD
Debbi Moore Beautiful Sepia&Tinted Vintage Photos
Glitter Girls Majestic board
Tim Holtz distress inks
Ribbon
Paper flower
Digi ticket cant remember where is it from
Charm
This is a very simple card yet so effective. I didn't use much embellishment cos the picture itself is beautiful and the backing paper is quit fancy one. The picture's backing is made with my Glitter Girls board, I do use Majestic board a lot. If I'm not mistaken it's among the first few ones they made, I've lost count on their boards by now but I do have most of them lol
Once I done my background for the pic I inked it up with my well loved Time Holtz inks (soon got to get refills as I use them soooooo much). The stopper for this card is the Ticket and a hand charm is hanging from it.

Recycle vs Texture

Well sad news. Over at IACCCB we have to change our blog name as Crafters Companion just started their own challenge blog, so Rachel decided to do a new challenge blog with a different name. So our last challenge was set by me and I've asked for recycle newspaper and magazine, 3 buttons and glitter.
Mine is a bit late as I'm still not 100% but getting there. I made this on Monday but been so busy yesterday had no time to post and forgot to take pic daytime so had to wait till morning to do it.
I did craft today a bit. I was just putting finishing touches on few cards. Still got catching up to do. Managed to do the house the last few days so now it's only my cards I'm behind with.
Anyway back to my card
Over at TT the challenge was set by Zoe and this is what she asked for:all about texture. Go and check out the DT's awesome work.
Recipe
Crafters Companion background stamp from everyday collection
Crafters Companion Jemima&sentiment stamp
Newspaper
Magazine
Laminated card from my material samples
Material
White acrylic paint
Buttons from stash
Glitter leftovers
Tim Holtz distressed inks
Water colouring pencil

I have started my card with a sheet of newspaper. I painted with white acrylic paint and once it was dry I stamped the little background stamps with distress inks then after drying I torn it to fit my A4 card. Have saved the left over for later. I stuck my paper to my base card then I added my material to my laminated picture and fixed it to the card.
I stamped Jemima onto my chosen magazine page and cut out her hat and scarf. Stamped Jemima on white card stock and coloured her where I had to and glued the bits to place. I placed Jemima onto the straw settie.
With my left over material I stamped my sentiment and put it on the bottom,

With the other piece of leftover material I made a flower and put to buttons on top of each other as center. I made the middle flower with the leftover strip of newspaper&bit of material and torn magazine for center and a bit of glitter. The last flower was made with torn magazine in circle&leftover newspaper, bit of material what I distressed

And here it is the card. I was quit pleased with the over all result. Recycling is great.

I 'm gonna add this card to:

Delightful Sketches Challenge blog where they asking for TEXTURE

Alphabet Chellenge blog: F for flowers

Charisma Cardz: Flowers

Paperplay Challenge blog: The theme is FLOWERS AND SPARKLE
