Alter it with Mosaic

At TioT is alter week and the theme is: Mosaic. I have to say I did straggle, I wasn't in altering mood lol I know it sounds stupid but lately I'm not in altering mood, don't know why. So in the end I decided to re-alter my box what's standing next to my lap-top and I keep my printing papers in GSM order (at least something in order lol) anyway I printed of an image what we were given over at CDAC PC and the image is by Shelly's Images then I got loads of scrap out and I cut abt 0.5mm strips then cut it into squares, and the fun begin. YES it did take me blooming ages to do it but I do like the end result. I had to finish it of with this gorgeous butterfly which is scrap paper as well. So here is my altered box oh and it used to be washing powder box so it is an altered altered box lol

I LUV this butterfly, it's Cheery Lynn Designs
This is my fav bit of mosaic, I think the lemon turned out pretty cool

I thought I'll enter this into the fallowing challenges
LIM: Don't scrap it. Please let me know if  it's not LIM enough
CDAC PC: Green, Great and Gorgeous
All Sorts Challenge: Week #143 It's your choice

  10. Ildiko for someone that said that they were not in the 'mood' to alter something, your finished project would not reflect that. It's stunning! I can only imagine how time consuming it was for you to cut all the pieces and then glue them all back together in a mosaic effect. I'm so glad that the box is in a spot where you can admire your work often.
On a side note: Hun can you please contact Marla from our group at CDAC as she need your address for the Easter Exchange.
