I made this clock

With my friend we gave present to the kids not grown ups. I decided to make a clock for here doughter. This is my third clock but I never took picture of the first two. They were wedding presents last year and they turned out fab ( I think).
Ingredients:
Crafters Companion Flower Fairies CD
Crafters Companion Rose Fairy stamp
Rose stamp & rose head stamp
Tim Holtz distressed inks:Dusty Concord
Fired Brick
Tattered Rose
Warm Lipstick
Spiced Marmalade
Dried Marigold
Card board for base
Few gem from stash
Clock mechanism
Silver embossing powder
Red embossing powder
Bit of glitter for the wing and Rose
This is my Fairy from close up. I forgot to take a note what colours I used. I know I used Fore Rose Fairy Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade, Warm Lipstick,
Tattered Rose.
I have embossed four roses and cut it out. The background was printed off then I used the rose head to stamp it all over and embossed it. Once it was embossed I coloured the paper with Frayed Burlap then I scrambled it up and used Fired bricks over it and I ironed it with paper towel over it. Fixed it to my card board put my roses on it then my Rose Fairy. For little finishing touches I used little gem for every 5 min and put red embossing powder onto the edge.
The back is very simple only matching printed paper from the CD.

The Stamp Man Award

The rule is: pick something you have made that you are particularly proud of and feel was your best work of 2009 and leave a comment on The Stamp Man blog so everyone can see your work.
It was hard to choose cos I was quite proud of my ribbon holder too (till I made it I never knew I got soooooo many ribbons lol) but wasn't sure if it's counts as craft item. So I decided I pick one of my favorite stamp, High Hopes the farmer. The full instruction how it was made you'll find it here. I used this stamp for Christmas cards too. Just cut away the fork and wheat replace it with Xmas things and there you go got a Xmas card without a Xmas stamp.

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

Happy Crafting

Cards I made to my dearest and nearest

Few nights ago I managed to do my OH's Xmas card and the kids Xmas card. I did find it difficult to make my cards to my dearest and nearest this year. I made so many that I just had enough of it by now, so probably next year will do theirs first. I had no energy to do big cards but have to say Alfie loved his snow man. Adrian's (OH) and Alfie's card I used embossed image.

Ingredient's for the 1st card
Inkado stamp
Shiny material
Crochet flower
Left over backing paper
Charm and mini bell
Spillbinder die
Red Distress ink
Bred
I love this stamp. So much details on one stamp. If you look close got a bird on the angel's dress. I fell in love with this and the other stamp(snow men) too.
My mum crochet this flower for me and many more and just had to use it. To make it a bit unusual I hanged Merry Christmas confetti on it and used a nice bred with it.
I wanted to create a bit of texture so I used some of this material and I twisted it to give a bit of umph to the look. I used my spillbinder to cut out the embossed angel and edged it with my red distress ink pad.
This is just the side view to show you all the dimension on the card.
Inside I used the left over from the die cut and left over papers and material. On the top of the material I used the dear confetti.
Ingredients for 2ND card
Inkado stamp
Leftover material
Left over backing paper
Mini bells
Confetti
This is the close up of the image. All that detail just fab fab.
I made this card to Alfie and he loved it. Made my day.
Inside is simple. I decorated it with the confetti dears.
Mesi's card is very simple. Next year can't get away with it though lol I had left over papers and the toppers just free bees
Inside I used the left over ribbon, my rabbit chewed my paper so had to hide it :-) somehow so it's hiding behind the rain dear.

TT vs Coloure Creat Challenge

This week at Tuesday Taggers the theme is: Christmas Carols and at Colour Create the colours are LILAC or PURPLE with AQUA, BLACK and WHITE.
Ingredients
Crafters Companion Cute Christmas Collection
Crafters Companion Cute Companion stamp
Glamour dust
Some fancy papers for the dress
I have printed off a decoupage sheet and cut it out. I stamped 3 mice than coloured the face, feet and tail. I stamped on each paper and cut the dress out then glued it on my mice. Now the paper stamp was too big so had to draw them by hand and cut it out and fit it into their hands. I made this to a friend of mine on the Crafters Companion Forum so I put her name above the shop. I used glamour dust to make it sparkle&christmasy. For inside I just printed off an insert with a verse.

Few Xmas cards I made

I made few cards. The step leader and easel card is made after a template. The template is from Penny whom I know through Crafty Card Scrappers, she is sooooooooo talented got so many things in her photobucket. My step leader is an A6 and my easel cards are 4"x4"
Ingredients
My main toppers are material from Hobby Craft
The papers are DCWV Christmas Wishes
Little toppers are magazine freebees
Some ribbon&other little bits

Whenever I sit down to craft my OH always annoys me grrrrrrrrrrr.
Now this card/house is made after the Crafters Companion 3D CD. I have to say very easy to fallow. It looks scary but it's not. Alfie loves is soooooo much, might have to make one more if I have time lol
I have used: Crafters Companion's Cute Companions Winter Tales stamps
White cards from my stock
Tim Holtz distress inks to colour my papers
White Flower soft for the roof
Ribbon for the baby
Hey
This is just a close up of the inside.

I hope you like these few cards. Thanks for dropping by.

Challenge 1:High Hopes sketch by Jeanette
Challenge 2:Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential-Hats on
Ingredients
High Hopes Stamp:Goliath Xmas
Paper Doyle
Big circle punch
Crafters Companion hat stamp
Tim Holtz Distress inks
Glitter paper
DCWV paper
Liquid Applique
Gold embossing powder
Glitter pens
Glitter glue
This is just a close up. I have used the liquids applique on the hat an beard than after drying I heat set it. It's a fab stuff I love using it. Liquid applique can be used as a snow. On the background I used my distress inks, but used brush and stapled onto the card to give a bit of umph. I used my ink on the Doyle paper too.
The big background paper I made it. Again used my distress inks then I embossed the hat on it after that I simply stamped the hat with black ink.
For inside I stamped&embossed the hat out and inked my Doyle paper which is my insert.. To finish it I'm gonna stamp a sentiment onto my Doyle paper

My friend's doughters BD card

I had to come up with a good keepsake, so I designed a new type of wordbook. Loads of work went into it but it was worth every minute of it.
Ingredients
Crafters Companion: Cute Companion CD
Crafters Companion Stamps
My craft Studio CD
Other little bit's and bobs
For the front I used tags what I opened up in My Craft Studio (MCS) and re sized it then wrote the wording in it.
Below is the top view of my card. The letters were re sized in MCS so all the same size.
On the 1st page I used an envelop what I made smaller with MCS and I wrote Happy Birthday Lilly what I copied several times and dragged it onto the envelope than cut it out.
Here just used some of my cute stamps and the balloon is from popcorn set.
The small pillow box was again re sized in MCS
For the back I used the banner and inside I wrote "Lilly's 1 today" with MCS and used few more little embellishment from my stash.
I'm just getting the hang of MCS CD and I really really enjoy it.
For this card I haven't used really any measurements just done the folding as needed.

Mudzie's lights makes it perfect for the Tuesday Taggers Challenge and because the colour suits the Colour Create Challenge I decided to enter 3rd time too.

Challenge 2: Colour Create green/red/white-Christmas
Ingredients
Cute Companion Stamps
Some left over backing paper not sure which CD
Glitter
Ribbon
Doyley paper
When I seen the sketch I just had to start it strait away. Love this one sooooooooooo much, the only problem is that I forgot the given colours by Rachel so girls(at Crafters Companion) if my card is not good enough please let me know and I make an other one. I had loads of leftover bits and bobs and I just had to used them. The ribbon bit was crying out for glitter so I had to put a bit in there.

Challenge 1: Tuesday Taggers and the theme is colours(Green/Red/Gold)
Challenge 2:Colour Create the theme is Green, Red and White - Christmas
Ingredients:
The dog topper which is material is from Hobby Craft
Mini belles
Merry Christmas confetti
Left overs
Peel off
The picture above is the Colour Create's inspirational picture. As I'm posting late makes me bit hungry :-)
The card came from a free bee the topper left from last year, so the whole thing was quick, few little extras and that's it. I wonder who's gonna get this card. Got few friends on my list who loves dogs.
I used left over paper as an insert and used a small peel off to brighten it up.
