Well not quite as I made one before abt a yr and half ago but never got into it and now doing this mix media again I'm planing to do the next one. Oh yeah I guess you wanna know what I'm mumbling on abt lol Over at Paper Cupcakes this week Shirley Quarry brings us our challenge. She wants to have a "Let's Get Acquainted Party". We have challenges here at Paper Cupcakes twice a month, but we really don't seem to know one another or our team members style.
Shirley's challenge for us is to go to the Paper Cupcake's team members blog's and find a card that you like, then case it. You may change the image or colors, but try to keep the sketch of their card the same. When you list your card, please list a link to the card you cased on your personal blog so they can see the cased card.
To see the card the Designer's cased make sure you visit their personal blogs.
Now this needs a bit of time but I think it's worth it. I really had fun to look through Maria's blog for my inspiration, I had several of them picked and in the end I decided next to the canvas as I have few, so here is Maria's
and woala my take on Maria's little canvas mine is 2&3/4"x3&1/4"
Here is the side view and the close up of the image what I paper pieced but I did print it on my canvas too as I didn't want to leave out the rain dropps, by the way this sweet image is a FREEBIE so pop over to PC and get it while you can. so back to my mini canvas, once it was coloured with my Tim Holtz ink I started to organise the papers and bit of blob ere and there the main mini canvas was decorated ready to add my image, WA and rose too.
I'm in LUV with this little canvas, and I just had an idea for the next one but need more mini canvas, they only 99p and the stand comes with it too how brill is that
I'd like to enter this little canvas into the fallowing challenges
