Well Zoe at TT made me put my thinking cap on as canvas or hanging things not my comfort zone but I had a hell of a time making this (didn't go to bed till 4am today lol ). I didn't have canvas but did have these two a material and a cardboard.
I thought I make something out of these and here it is.

Paulette yesterday was very generous. Gave us loads of freebies and a challenge to use the fish digi. Well came handy for my wall hanging, just goes soooooooo well what I had in mind. Ok I did do loads of resizing then masking but I have used my masking bits up too. The big fish was printed out then a plain paper with the sentiment on it was stick behind then I cut it out, hang on then I took it apart and cut out the fins (or how you say it lol ) and the tail and stuck it on my sentiment fish, I love the way big fish turned out. I have coloured the bits with Shakura gel pen then quickly run over it with a wet brush to look like grey AND in the end I sprayed it with Spray&Sparkle. Phew big fish is done. Such a little thing and so much work gone into it no wonder why I went to bed 4am lol.
Now the strip in the middle was coloured with my distress inks (boy lately I use it a lot ) after I cut out a little fish mask&big fish mask (no way I was cutting out more lol ) had to cut carefully as the negative was mask for spraying the fish with the Spray&Sparkle took me a while but it was worth it.
One of the pick got fish die cut background. I used the school of fish didgi but put twice next to each other, coloured it too and job done.
Now the sentiment. Hhhhhmmmm had an accident with it lol and had no energy at 3.30 to turn PC back and print it again. Well what happened. I printed something on a scrap paper and did not see bit stuck in, so put the next paper in to print "enjoy" cut it out rough and cut it with my nesti, me being blind lol did not see the mistake, till I was colouring it lol by then I thought what a hack it's stays like that, and I do like it.
Few more picture
Sorry for my gobbing lol
Thanks stopping by

Love it, sorry to have kept you up late! Was not sure you would make something in time having been away very very glad you did this is a fabulous piece. xx Zoe
ReplyDeleteIldz if you hadn't said anything I would not have noticed all the things you have told us, you think, are wrong with it. This piece has a lot of texture and dimension on it and really highlights the pictures of your beautiful children. I love the way the photos have a blue glow because of the reflection from the pool. It's a great piece. :-) xx
ReplyDeleteFantastic Ildiko, you certainly put a lot of time and effort into this fabulous creation and it shows.
