On Crafters Companion forum I do a bookmark swap, and it was Vintage. I love vintage it's right down my street. I feel very confy when I got to make vintage. I found a brill blog: Cora's blog Clearly Vintage and you see the most amazing Vintage photos, pictures and all free. I have to admit I didn't download all but I know in the future if I need a Vintage pic that's where I got to go. Pop over to her blog and see it yourself. It's Aladin's cave lol
Recipe
Printed lady from Clearly Vintage
Tim Holz Distress ink
Water colouring pencil
Gold string
So here is my bookmark
I didn't do much to the print out. I left a bit on the side when I cut it out then I masked it and distressed the edge. I printed a cropped little dress from the corner what I coloured then I mounted onto the bookmark. To finish it off I cut out an other piece of paper and attached it to the back, but before I glued it together I put the gold string between, end of the string I put the dress again what I mirror printed as well to be able to put them back to back. The dress was coloured again and I coloured the lady's hat's rim. And bookmark was done. It was a quick one but I just love it. Be honest I think few ppl gonna get this as a present ;-)
Thanks popping by
